Annual Town Meeting Thursday March 6

The Rye Annual Town Meeting will be held in the Tilling Green Community Centre on Thursday 6 March at 7.00pm. (6.30 doors open). There will be Reports from Andy Stuart, Rye Town Mayor and from local councillors and the creators of the Rye Neighbourhood Plan. However the main purpose of the meeting will be to enable residents to have their say and to ask questions of representatives on matters such as housing and transport.
Last year saw plenty of complaints about pot holes, an issue that has not gone away, but I would guess that affordable housing and shopping facilities may get raised again.
