The Conservation Society Christmas Party will be held in Rye Town Hall on Friday 5 December. Proceedings will be opened by Paul Goring, Rye's Town Cryer at 6.00pm

All members and friends of the Society are welcome to attend for a glass or two of wine, a mince pie and lively conversation. The Chairman will present awards to the Environment Agency for their work on the Strand Quay refurbishment and to Elliott Brotherton for his stone-masonry at the War Memorial.

There will be a raffle with funds going to the Rye Food Bank as last year when we raised over £200.We hope to beat that figure this year and there are nice prizes to be had;.

Following the raffle and the Award giving we will have some live music played by Reg Marchant and bass man Jon Turner. And guests are welcome to stay until 8.30 for wine and mince pies.

We look forward to welcoming you.
