Society responds to Rye Parking Consultation
East Sussex have been holding an informal consultation about the introduction of a new parking scheme for Rye. This included a two day exhibition in the Rye Town Hall which showed which parts of Rye would be affected by the proposals and included a real live parking machine which seemed very large in the confined space of the Town Hall. New Year Thoughts
We wish all members and friends of the Rye Conservation Society a most Happy and successful New Year. The end of the New Year saw locally a number of public consultations. One is on the final revisions of the Neighbourhood Plan as it nears the time when it will go to the local electorate for approval.
